Turn on encrypted backup and your phrase is sealed with a password only you know (AES-256-GCM), then verified by a code sent to your email whenever you recover. Lose your phone? Install the app on any device, confirm the email code, enter your password — your account is back. Buying digital assets with local currency is a separate service provided by a licensed provider. It requires identity verification with that provider and is subject to the provider's eligibility rules and limits.
