KlipbitNeo — Terms of Use

Last updated: July 30, 2026

1. What is KlipbitNeo

KlipbitNeo is a self-custodial digital wallet application, published by KLIPBIT LTDA, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 68.234.941/0001-23, São Paulo/SP. KLIPBIT LTDA is a software company — it is not a financial institution, broker, exchange, payment processor, or financial services provider. By using KlipbitNeo, you interact directly with public blockchain networks — at your own risk.

KlipbitNeo software is a set of tools that allows you to:

  • Generate, back up, and recover a self-custodial wallet for digital assets;
  • Send, receive, and request payments in digital assets on the public Solana blockchain;
  • Swap digital assets through independent decentralized liquidity protocols;
  • Hold native Bitcoin in self-custody (Bitcoin Vault);
  • View balances and transaction history recorded on public blockchain networks;
  • Optionally access local currency rails operated by licensed local payment providers (Section 7).

KlipbitNeo does not custody your assets, does not have access to your keys, and cannot perform operations on your behalf. The software provides a simple way to create, back up, and recover your self-custody wallet — but you alone control and are responsible for your keys. The software is provided as is.

2. Legal nature

KlipbitNeo is published by KLIPBIT LTDA (CNPJ 68.234.941/0001-23), a Brazilian software company. KLIPBIT LTDA is not licensed or regulated as a financial institution in any jurisdiction, does not hold client funds, and never holds, sends, or receives fiat currency. Where regulated services are involved (Section 7), they are provided by independent licensed providers under their own terms.

The software is proprietary; its source code is not publicly available. Transactions you perform occur on public blockchain networks, where they are publicly verifiable on-chain. The publisher does not assume responsibility for the operation of the software or the results of its use.

These Terms describe the conditions under which the software is made available. They do not create a contractual relationship of service provision, mandate, representation, partnership, or employment between you and any person associated with the project.

3. Acceptance

By accessing or using the software in any way, you declare that you have read, understood, and fully accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.

These Terms may be updated at any time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use after a change indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

4. Use at your own risk

You are solely responsible for deciding whether to use the software and for all consequences of that decision. No one will compensate, reimburse, or indemnify you for losses arising from use.

By using the software, you acknowledge that:

  • Digital assets are volatile — you may lose some or all of their value;
  • Blockchain transactions are irreversible — there are no chargebacks, refunds, or cancellations;
  • Software may contain bugs, vulnerabilities, or unexpected behaviors;
  • Blockchain networks may experience congestion, outages, or attacks;
  • Anyone can create fake tokens, including copies of legitimate tokens;
  • Laws and regulations may change, limiting or prohibiting the use of the software in your jurisdiction;
  • The software may cease to be maintained, updated, or made available at any time, without notice.

5. Self-custody and private keys

Your Recovery Phrase is the only way to access your assets. If you lose your Recovery Phrase and do not have an encrypted backup, no one — including KLIPBIT LTDA — can recover your assets. The loss is permanent and irreversible.

The software generates cryptographic keys locally on your device. These keys are never transmitted, stored on servers, or accessible by third parties. If you enable encrypted backup, your Recovery Phrase is encrypted on your device with a password only you know before anything leaves the device — the publisher cannot decrypt it. Anyone who knows your Recovery Phrase or backup password can access, transfer, or spend your assets — protect them as you would protect physical money.

6. Asset swaps and Bitcoin Vault

The software allows swapping digital assets through independent decentralized protocols. These swaps occur entirely within the respective protocols — KlipbitNeo only provides the interface and is not a party or counterparty to any swap.

The Bitcoin Vault allows you to hold native Bitcoin (BTC) in self-custody. Cross-chain conversions are routed through independent third-party protocols. KlipbitNeo does not control, guarantee, or take responsibility for the operation of any external protocol.

Quotes and fee estimates displayed by the software are approximate and may vary between the time of query and execution.

7. Local currency access (licensed providers)

KlipbitNeo does not provide fiat (government currency) services and never holds, sends, or receives fiat directly. If you wish to access local currency rails (such as PIX in Brazil), you may optionally activate them by completing an identity verification directly with a licensed provider operating in your country.

For your convenience this verification may be presented within the app, but it is performed by — and your identity documents and personal data are submitted to and held by — that provider, not KlipbitNeo. KlipbitNeo does not collect, store, or process identity documents.

Each licensed provider holds the applicable licenses in the market where it operates and is solely responsible for that documentation and for compliance with the laws and regulations of the relevant jurisdiction. Your use of any provider is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy. KlipbitNeo is not a party, intermediary, or counterparty to those transactions.

8. Fees

The software charges protocol fees on certain operations (such as swaps and vault conversions). Fees are displayed before confirmation and deducted automatically in the blockchain transaction.

In addition to KlipbitNeo protocol fees, blockchain transactions require payment of network fees (“gas”), charged by the respective network protocol and outside the software's control.

Fees may be changed at any time, without prior notice, through software updates.

9. User conduct

By using the software, you agree not to:

  • Use the software for illegal activities in your jurisdiction, including money laundering, terrorism financing, or tax evasion;
  • Transmit digital assets that are proceeds of criminal or fraudulent activity;
  • Attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in the software or interface for undue advantage;
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated methods to overload the interface;
  • Impersonate another person or provide false information to other users;
  • Use the software if you are located in, or a resident or national of, a comprehensively sanctioned jurisdiction, or where use of the software is otherwise prohibited.

You are solely responsible for verifying whether the use of digital assets is permitted in your jurisdiction and for complying with all applicable legal and tax obligations.

10. No advice

No information displayed by the software constitutes financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Quotes, fees, and market data are purely informational. Consult qualified professionals before making financial decisions.

11. Complete disclaimer of warranties

The software is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of continuous operation, error correction, fitness for any particular purpose, security, or non-infringement of third-party rights. No contributor, developer, or person associated with the KlipbitNeo project offers any warranty about the software or the results of its use.

12. Complete disclaimer of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, neither KLIPBIT LTDA nor any contributor, developer, maintainer, or person associated with the KlipbitNeo project shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of digital assets, loss of profits, loss of data, or any other harm — arising from the use or inability to use the software, from operations conducted through the software, or from any interaction with blockchain networks or third-party protocols.

13. Licensing

The mobile application and all other components are proprietary software; their source code is not publicly available.

The “Klipbit” and “KlipbitNeo” brands, logos, and visual identity are reserved and may not be used by third parties without authorization.

14. Availability

The software and web interface may be discontinued, modified, or made unavailable at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. There is no commitment to maintenance, support, or continuity.

If the software stops working, your assets remain on the blockchain and can be accessed through any software compatible with your Recovery Phrase. Your assets do not depend on KlipbitNeo's existence.

15. Jurisdiction and applicable law

KlipbitNeo is published by KLIPBIT LTDA, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 68.234.941/0001-23, with registered office in São Paulo/SP. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence.

You are solely responsible for determining whether the use of the software is permitted in your jurisdiction and for complying with all local laws and regulations.
